The repair is complete!

The void is filled and the surface sculpted using an exceptional plastic that meets the requirements of this type of repair. With a little TLC, the repair is complete!

“Eomer on Firefoot”

Before the Repair: Part of the right forearm was broken off and the part was missing. This is the arm that holds the sword, so the missing part was quite visible and unsightly.

When possible, Owens combines a mechanical fix with an adhesive fix. In this case, he combined twisted brass with an exceptional plastic to rebuild the missing part. The brass connects via holes drilled with precision and then “super-glued” into position.

After the Repair: The entire surface is restored with close attention to details that live on and near the edge. Naturally, the hand & sword fit perfectly.
