This clay statue of St. Francis was delivered in four pieces with two additional missing pieces that had to be sculpted. It was located out of doors and had a patina created by long exposure to the elements. The client required a complete restoration, so there was to be no evidence of the repair.

The tiny clay bird shown above is a separate element of the sculpture and has a wing-span of about 2-1/2 inches. Aluminum pins were used again to add strength before the missing part was sculpted.
